I’ve had this comic for a time now. I think the first time my friend took me to the Paperback Shack in Temecula, CA was when I found this. I bought it for $1 and a bunch of other old comics. The Paperback Shack is a used book shop that’s next to the Music Shack, a great place to find movies. The PS’s comics stock is very small and has random issues, but I tend to get something that catches my eyes.
Just for some understanding, I am getting back to into the world of comics. I used to read them when I was little, but then for some reason I later stopped. It was not until my best friend started letting me read his Deadpool and Runaways comics a few years ago that I rekindled my love of them. So I’m not as knowledgeable with the comic world as some avid fans, but slowly getting there. Within that comic world, there are some characters that tingle my interest to know a bit more about them. Some are She-Hulk, Cloak and Dagger.
I have to admit, the fact that She-Hulk was on the front cover was one of the main reasons I got this comic. I’m a real sucker for any issue that has her in it. But of course, Cloak and Dagger are the main characters. The story is about a confusion the people have about their status. To most of the people, they are known as villains though they are good people. With the help of the Avengers, the are able to help those in danger while clearing up that confusion. I don’t remember anything about Dagger having any physical disabilities, but seeing she did in this issue, it just increased my interest about the pair. The comic was released in Dec. 1989. Somehow I’ve been able to get a lot of old issues around that year. With that, I hope to get more Cloak and Dagger comics.
