 First pull list of 2012, and a really good one.  The new Defenders is a very dynamic team, though still working out all of the kinks.  I love Betty, especially a scene in the issue with Strange.  I thought that X-23 #20 would be the last issue, but I saw a little blurb for another one at the end.  Still, it was a bitter-sweet issue to read.  …just letting you know I might spoil stuff…. but, Jubilee and X-23 were hanging out with the guys at Wolverine’s new school and Jubilee takes her one last night out in New York.  Stuff went down while they were partying, referring back to her time in the NXY series.  It all led to making her actual decision of what she will do next.  I’m really interested what will #21 be about, though #20 felt like a good place to end it.  Sad that Takeda didn’t illustrate it, but I do love Phil Noto’s work.  Alright, time for some DC talk.  Animal Man is just sooo good!  It’s just so dark and intense.  Travel Foreman’s art is perfect for it.  I heard things about the Batman Incorporated one-shot and had to pick it up.  It was great seeing everyone Pre-Reboot.  I really do miss them.  Things are getting good with Static.  I really do hope that Hardwire actually makes a physical, not holographic or whatever, appearance in the series.  Back to Marvel, I cannot wait for the new Uncanny X-Force and Avengers Academy issue, like the rest of what I read…  but the cover of Uncanny X-Force #20 does make me speculate about things.  I do question what will happen to Betsy since she is both of the X-Force and of Cyclops’s Team.  Ugh, Reptil.  That’s all I can say for Avengers Academy.  Y’all just need to pick up these comics and read them for yourselves.  Hope you all have a good new year and may all of your pull list be awesome!
