It’s mainly Marvel this week, but I highly recommend Static Shock and Animal Man.  Ugh, Buddy’s story has gotten some twisted developments.  I picked up Frankenstein and House of Night mainly from my interest of those classic horror monsters.  I’ve been intrigued by their versions of them and possibly will continue collecting.  With Spider-Man, I just want the next issues now.  The Defenders has such lovely art.  I think I’m becoming a fan of Betty Ross, which she’s also in The Incredible Hulk #2.  I rarely pick up issues from that series, but seeing how both the Hulk and Bruce have now become, I really want to see how it all ends.  X-23 is such a good and beautiful series and I hate to see it end.  From what I have read, the last issue will be #20, but X-23 will dive into more of the Marvel universe with the Avengers Academy and Vemon.  Also, I recommend picking up the “I Am Captain America”.  It features special cover and splash art made in honor of U.S heroes.
